Elsewhere, Plaza West Covina rings in Lunar New Year with family-friendly festivities, while the Los Angeles Public Library launches a yearlong celebration marking the Central Library’s 100th birthday.

Plaza West Covina’s Lunar New Year Celebration — Jan. 31

Plaza West Covina welcomes the Year of the Lunar New Year with a festive afternoon of cultural programming from 1 to 3 p.m. The free celebration features traditional lion dances, a martial arts demonstration, complimentary face painting, and family-friendly activities that bring the holiday’s sights and sounds to life.

OutLoud Grammy Watch Party — Feb. 1

OutLoud turns The Abbey into a full-scale Grammy celebration with an afternoon-to-night music takeover. Festivities kick off at 2 p.m. with a rising artist showcase hosted by DJ Hannah Rad, followed by a live broadcast of the awards ceremony and an after-party featuring a special guest to be announced.

The Regent Reset at Regent Santa Monica Beach — Jan. 31

Regent Santa Monica Beach closes out January with a morning wellness experience open to hotel guests and locals alike. Running from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., the Reset blends guided meditation, an oceanside yoga flow, and a Barry’s workout designed for all fitness levels.

Los Angeles Public Library Kicks Off Central Library’s 100-Year Birthday — Jan. 29

The Los Angeles Public Library launches the Central Library’s centennial celebration with a morning event in the Mark Taper Auditorium. Guests can explore new exhibitions, pick up limited-edition library cards, view a 100-year-old time capsule, and help mark a major milestone for one of L.A.’s most iconic civic spaces.

Zig-Zag x Are We On Air? Grammys Weekend Takeover — Jan. 31–Feb. 1

Zig-Zag brings Grammys weekend energy to the Are We On Air? Kiosk on Sunset Boulevard with two days of music, giveaways, and pop-up programming. Saturday features a floral giveaway with Becky Hearn, plus live performances by Destin Conrad and Andre Power. On Sunday, stop by for coffee with Period Correct, a set from Vanita Leo, and a DJ takeover by The Do-Over Collective.
