Catch Hard Summer at Hollywood Park, experience the Hollywood Bowl’s iconic Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks, get an early look at the Chargers during Training Camp, sip a specialty drink at the Kosas x Madhappy Pantry Pop-Up or unwind with an oceanfront screening at Cinema by the Sea. Whether you’re looking for live entertainment, food and drink or a relaxing night under the stars, there’s something for every kind of weekend itinerary.

Hard Summer — Aug. 1-2

Hard Summer returns to Hollywood Park this weekend for two days of EDM and hip-hop featuring some of the biggest names in music. Saturday’s lineup is led by Kali Uchis alongside Mau P, Nick León and Brutalismus 3000, while Sunday brings performances from Zedd b2b Knock2, DJ Snake, Shygirl, 2hollis and Sammy Virji. The festival runs from 2 to 10 p.m. both days next to SoFi Stadium, with two-day general admission passes starting at $312.

Kosas x Madhappy L.A. Pantry Pop-Up — July 29-Aug. 4

Beauty fans can stop by Madhappy’s West Hollywood Pantry this week as Kosas transforms the café with a limited-time pop-up celebrating the launch of four new shades of its Cloud Set Loose Translucent Powder. Visitors can order specialty Cloud Set Latte and Cloud Set Matcha drinks, both featuring vanilla and butterfly pea, and receive a complimentary mini loose powder with every purchase. Arrive early, as the first 50 guests each day will also score a free full-size Kosas product with their drink.

Los Angeles Chargers Training Camp — July 29-Aug. 18

Football season is getting closer as the Los Angeles Chargers welcome fans back to Training Camp at The Bolt in El Segundo. The UCLA Health-presented camp features 14 practices open to the public, with free tickets released on a first-come, first-served basis each Monday before the upcoming week’s sessions. Families can also plan for Aug. 15, when the camp adds kid-friendly activities including face painting, candy trucks and airbrush tattoos.

Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks — July 31-Aug. 1

The Hollywood Bowl’s beloved Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks returns for two nights of music and spectacle this Friday and Saturday. Audiences can enjoy selections from Swan Lake performed by the orchestra under the direction of Tchaikovsky specialist Chloé Dufresne, alongside breathtaking aerial performances from Troupe Vertigo. The evening culminates with the iconic 1812 Overture, accompanied by the USC Marching Band and a dazzling fireworks display. Tickets start at $44.

Cinema by the Sea — Aug. 1

Spend a summer evening by the ocean at the Regent Santa Monica Beach, where the hotel’s Cinema by the Sea series continues every Saturday through Aug. 29. This week’s screening celebrates the 100th anniversary of Route 66 with a showing of Eat Pray Love, complemented by themed cocktails, elevated concessions and classic movie snacks. Tickets start at $40, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
