StarQuest at L.A. Dance Project — Feb. 28

Blurring performance, technology and personal history, StarQuest arrives at L.A. Dance Project as a hybrid lecture, installation and live work by artist Maya Man. Drawing on her childhood in competitive dance and the cultural imprint of Dance Moms, the piece examines ambition, optimization and the pressures of self-performance in the digital age. Presented as part talk, part immersive environment, the evening invites audiences into a thoughtful exploration of identity, creativity and how we shape ourselves under constant observation.

Skyline Festival — Feb. 28- March 1

Produced by Insomniac’s Factory 93, the fifth edition of Skyline Festival returns to Ace Mission Studios for a two-night celebration of underground and global electronic music. The industrial venue sets the stage for an expansive lineup featuring artists like The Blessed Madonna, Chris Stussy, Dennis Cruz, DJ Seinfeld, Richie Hawtin and Avalon Emerson, alongside high-energy back-to-back sets and late-night favorites. With immersive production and a crowd of dedicated dance fans, Skyline once again turns downtown into a pulsing hub for house and techno devotees.
