From spooky thrills to artsy celebrations and beer-fueled fun, this weekend in L.A. has something for everyone. The Broad is marking its 10th anniversary with a full lineup of music, tours, and giveaways, while Knott’s Scary Farm returns to transform Buena Park into a nightmare playground. Over in Chinatown, LaSorted teams up with San Francisco’s pizza royalty for a charity slice-off, and Benny Boy Brewing brings a Bavarian vibe to Echo Park with Oktoberfest steins, music, and dachshund races. Plus, K-beauty brand Anua pops up with glowing giveaways and first looks at its latest skincare.

The Broad Celebrates 10 Years — Sept. 20–21

Downtown’s contemporary art gem is marking a milestone with a weekend of festivities. Visitors can enjoy free admission to Jeffrey Gibson: the space in which to place me, hourly pop-up gallery tours, DJ sets, giveaways, and a celebratory photobooth. It’s a rare chance to see The Broad in party mode while honoring a decade of bringing world-class art to Los Angeles.

LaSorted’s Chinatown: The Slice Series — Sept. 18–20

As the Dodgers face off against the Giants, LaSorted’s kitchen heats up with a charity pizza showdown. Chef Tommy Brockert welcomes San Francisco legend Tony Gemignani—of Tony’s Pizza Napoletana and Slice House—for a weekend of inventive pies. Proceeds benefit the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, making every slice a win for the community.

Benny Boy Brewing’s Oktoberfest Weekend — Sept. 19–21

Echo Park’s Benny Boy Brewing is raising a stein to Munich’s biggest tradition with its own three-day bash. Expect German-style beer and fare, live music, stein-holding contests, keg bowling, a vintage VW car show, and even dachshund races. It’s the closest you’ll get to Bavaria without leaving L.A.

Knott’s Scary Farm — Sept. 18–Nov. 1

Southern California’s longest-running Halloween haunt is back to terrify Buena Park. This year’s Knott’s Scary Farm features 10 immersive mazes, five eerie scare zones, three live shows, and plenty of new frights. Running through Nov. 1, the annual tradition turns Knott’s Berry Farm into a nightmare playground for thrill seekers.

Anua: The City of Glow Pop-Up — Sept. 19–21

K-beauty favorite Anua is making its Los Angeles debut with an interactive pop-up downtown. Guests can sample the brand’s upcoming sunscreen line, snap photos at themed installations, sip from the “Drink Your Glow” station, and play games for prizes. Bring an empty bottle to score a free dark spot serum while supplies last.
