Pan African Film & Arts Festival — Now through Feb. 17

One of the longest-running and most revered cultural events in Los Angeles, PAFF takes over the Crenshaw District, highlighting the creative achievements of Black and African talents on film. Screenings and panels with filmmakers, artists, and performers make for an insightful celebration of Black creativity. The festival’s centerpiece is the red carpet world premiere of For the Love of the Motherland this Saturday at the Directors Guild of America.

Sonic Playground at Grammy Museum — Feb. 14

This new interactive experience transforms the museum’s second floor into an immersive wonderland with 17 activations that explore music-making. From beats to mixing loops, instrumentation, and live vocal performance, visitors can engage with cutting-edge technology in a space designed to foster creativity.

Skyline Festival at Grand Molina Park — Feb. 14-16

Downtown’s architectural beauty serves as the backdrop for this two-day festival featuring house and techno beats across multiple stages. Artists like BLOND:ISH, Cloonee, Gordo, Green Velvet, Honey Dijon B2B Seth Troxler, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers, and more will bring the energy. Food and drinks will be available throughout the event.
