Sueño Perro: A Film Installation by Alejandro G. Iñárritu at LACMA — Feb. 22

Timed to the 25th anniversary of Amores Perros, LACMA presents Sueño Perro, a multisensory film installation by Alejandro G. Iñárritu that draws from the vast archive left behind during the making of his landmark debut. The exhibition assembles selections from more than a million feet of unused film, transforming cutting-room fragments into an immersive experience that revisits the spirit, imagery and emotional core of the original project. On view through July 26, the installation offers visitors a rare look inside the creative process behind one of contemporary cinema’s defining works.

Compagnie Hervé Koubi at The Wallis — Feb. 19-21

Blending athletic precision with poetic movement, Compagnie Hervé Koubi makes its Los Angeles debut at The Wallis with Sol Invictus, a striking work that merges contemporary dance, hip-hop and martial arts into a meditation on unity and resilience. Presented with support from Dance Reflections by Van Cleef & Arpels, the performance channels raw physicality and fluid choreography to explore themes of connection, identity and collective strength, offering audiences a powerful and visually arresting live experience.

Pokémon Go at the Rose Bowl — Feb. 22

Bringing its interactive world to Pasadena, Pokémon Go returns to the Rose Bowl with a large-scale live experience that blends augmented reality with real-world exploration. Fans can roam themed habitats, encounter rare Pokémon, snap photos with Pikachu and Eevee, and browse exclusive merchandise while connecting with fellow players across the park. The one-day event transforms the iconic venue into an immersive playground for trainers of all levels, offering a high-energy mix of gameplay, community and spectacle.
