Ice at Santa Monica — Starting Nov. 7

Lace up your skates, Ice at Santa Monica returns for its 17th season, transforming Downtown Santa Monica into a seaside winter wonderland. Presented by Disney+ and Hulu, the beloved outdoor rink offers festive fun for all ages, from date nights under twinkling lights to family skate sessions by the beach. This year’s special events include a Taylor Swift birthday celebration on Dec. 13 and a New Year’s Eve East Coast countdown on Dec. 31, proof that even in sunny SoCal, winter magic is alive and well.

Lucia’s Hurricane Melissa Fundraiser — Nov. 9

Lucia in Silver Lake honors its namesake this weekend with a heartfelt evening dedicated to Hurricane Melissa relief across the Caribbean. Founder Sam Jordan and the restaurant’s team will host a special fundraiser supporting World Central Kitchen and American Friends of Jamaica, channeling community spirit through food, music, and giving. It’s a night that pairs Lucia’s signature warmth with a cause that reaches far beyond Los Angeles.

Povision Pop-up — Nov. 6–10

The West Hollywood Design District gets a splash of creativity this week as Povision hosts an immersive pop-up packed with photo-ready installations, colorful vignettes, and playful games. Guests can wander through selfie walls and interactive art moments while snagging exclusive branded giveaways. It’s an Instagrammer’s dream weekend and a perfect excuse to soak in the stylish side of WeHo.

REDCAT New Original Works Festival — Nov. 6–22

Downtown’s REDCAT once again spotlights the city’s boldest boundary-pushers with its annual New Original Works (NOW) Festival, a three-week celebration of experimental art. More than 200 artists will take over the Walt Disney Concert Hall complex with cutting-edge performances that blend dance, theater, music, and multimedia. Expect an ever-changing lineup of premieres that challenge convention and redefine what live performance in L.A. can be.

Steph & Friends Brunch at Girl & the Goat — Nov. 8

Celebrity chef Stephanie Izard gathers a powerhouse lineup of culinary friends—Brooke Williamson, Shirley Chung, Michael Reed, and Shanna Lynn Milazzo—for a family-style brunch at Girl & the Goat. The collaborative feast benefits Common Threads, a nonprofit bringing cooking and nutrition education to underserved communities. Expect inventive dishes, big flavors, and the kind of camaraderie only L.A.’s top chefs can bring to the table.
