This weekend’s lineup taps into L.A.’s love of music, nightlife, and immersive pop culture moments. From rooftop DJ sets and live jazz at Fairmont Breakers Long Beach to underground dance-floor energy as Framework launches its new Re series, the city’s soundscape is in full swing. Punk history comes roaring back with Black Flag at The Roxy, while fans of prestige TV can step inside the worlds of The Beauty and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms through interactive pop-ups and themed watch parties designed to blur the line between screen and real life.

Live Music Series at Fairmont Breakers Long Beach — Jan. 16

Running on select dates through February 13, Fairmont Breakers Long Beach is hosting a rotating slate of live music across its venues. Fridays spotlight Latin jazz at Alter Ego, while Thursdays and Saturdays bring Sounds & Sips programming. California State University, Long Beach also contributes with its alumni jazz series, held every third Thursday of the month, with the next performance set for January 15 at 7 p.m. On January 17, Halo Rooftop adds DJs, cocktails, and sweeping views to the mix during its Skyline Sessions.

Framework Kicks Off New Series — Jan. 16

L.A. dance collective Framework launches a new chapter with Re, a series dedicated to spotlighting underground and forward-thinking talent. The inaugural night brings a stacked lineup featuring MK, Jaden Thompson, and Sweet Like Chocolate, setting the tone for a program designed to push beyond mainstream club fare. Expect a tightly curated atmosphere and a sound-driven experience aimed squarely at serious dance-floor devotees.

Black Flag at The Roxy — Jan. 16

L.A. punk pioneers Black Flag take over The Roxy on the Sunset Strip for a high-energy evening on January 16. The legendary band hits the stage at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 7, promising a night of raw riffs and uncompromising attitude at one of the city’s most iconic rock venues.

The Beauty One Shot Studio — Jan. 16-17

To mark the upcoming premiere of FX and Hulu’s The Beauty, Westfield Century City is hosting a limited-time photo experience designed to channel the show’s glossy, surreal aesthetic. Open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on January 16 and 17, the One Shot Studio invites visitors to step inside a glam set built for striking portraits and immersive moments. Reservations are encouraged for those looking to secure a spot.

‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ at 33 Taps — Jan. 17

Through January 30, 33 Taps DTLA transforms into a fantasy-forward hangout in partnership with HBO to celebrate the upcoming Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The immersive takeover includes themed decor, specialty cocktails, and interactive elements like a jousting-inspired arcade experience. Fans can also catch official watch parties on January 18 and 25, making it an easy win for Westeros devotees looking to watch with a crowd.
